Hey everyone! I've bought a few beauty items lately and I thought I'd share them with you. I haven't got round to trying most of them yet but with the ones I have, I'll let you know a little bit about what I think of them!
Benefit They're Real Mascara- Debenhams
I've been meaning to get this mascara for a while since there was so much hype about it and it definitely lives up to it's expectations! It lengthens your lashes really well and still gives them a bit of volume and it's probably the best mascara I've tried.
Although it was quite pricey at £18.50 (I got it for around £16 when it was 10% off in Debenhams) I would say it's definitely worth it! The only down side is that it tends to have too much excess product on the end of the wand (as shown in third picture below) which I find can make your eyelashes clumpy. However, if you just wipe it away, it should be fine!
Essie Nail Polish- Superdrug £7.99 each
These are the first Essie nail polishes I've bought and so far I've only tried Fiji which is a very light almost white pink. Normally with light colours I find that they need quite a few coats and don't apply so well but you only need two coats of Fiji to build up a good colour. It lasts a long time on my nails and it comes with a thick brush which makes the nail polish easy to apply. The other two colours I bought were 'Chinchilly' which is a grey brown and 'Mint Candy Apple' which is a mint green.
Mac Blush in Fleur Power- £17.50
I haven't tried this blush from Mac yet, but it's a really pretty medium pink-coral colour which I can't wait to use! It's a satin finish and I think it would be a great everyday blush.
Nars Sheer Glow Foundation, Nars Laguna Bronzer and Nars Deep Throat Blush
£29.50, £25, £21
I recently purchased my first Nars items which I'm really excited to try! So far, I've only tried the Sheer Glow Foundation (mine's in the colour Punjab) which I really like as it gives an amazing dewy finish and matches my skin tone perfectly. I then bought the Laguna bronzer which is another product I've heard lots about and a blush in Deep Throat which is pinky peach colour with shimmer, both of which I'm yet to try!
Real Techniques Brushes- Boots
Powder Brush (left) - £12.99 Blush Brush (right) £9.99
I already have the Real Techniques Core Collection Set and Stippling Brush which I love and use on a daily basis so I thought I would purchase a couple more brushes from the line. I haven't tried them yet, but they're both incredibly soft and I'm sure they will work well. I think they're well-priced for such good quality brushes and next on my list to buy is the Starter Set which has 5 eye brushes!
So they're all the beauty-related items I've bought recently and if you want me to do an in-depth review about any of them then leave a comment below!
Thanks for reading!
